Dr. Tamas Püski graduated in human medicine in 2012 from the University of Debrecen in Hungary and received his medical license in Germany in the same year. He then completed comprehensive surgical training in several large hospitals with a broad spectrum of operative and intensive care experience. From 2012 to 2013, Dr. Püski worked in the Department of General, Thoracic and Visceral Surgery at Klinikum Fürth. He subsequently moved to the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Klinikum Nürnberg Süd, where he gained valuable experience in intensive care medicine and in the treatment of critically ill and emergency patients.
From 2016 onwards, he specialized in plastic surgery as part of his advanced training and worked for several years in a large clinic for plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, as well as in the treatment of severely injured patients. In 2020, he obtained his board certification as a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery and subsequently took on a senior physician position with extensive surgical responsibility. In addition, he acquired the additional qualification in hand surgery, giving him a particularly broad operative expertise in functional and reconstructive procedures.
A special focus of his current work is reconstructive and body contouring surgery after massive weight loss. Dr. Püski has extensive experience in the treatment of excess skin and soft tissue and has mastered the most advanced body contouring techniques to combine functional improvement with aesthetically harmonious results. Furthermore, guideline-based lipedema treatment, including modern liposuction techniques and combined tightening procedures, is one of his core areas of expertise.
Dr. Püski currently works as a senior physician at Klinikum Bamberg. In addition to his clinical duties, he performs plastic surgical procedures at the highest specialist level, with a particular emphasis on safety, precision, and natural results.
